Candy Labs is a growing candy company that specializes in handcrafted candies inspired by marine life. We are looking for a talented candy maker to join our team and help us continue to create unique and delicious treats.
Responsibilities:
- Work with a team of candy makers to create high-quality, handcrafted candies
- Follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistency in flavor and texture
- Operate and maintain candy-making equipment and tools
- Prepare and set up the workshop area with all the necessary equipment and materials
- Lead and facilitate candy making workshops for groups of various sizes and ages
- Provide participants with step-by-step instructions on candy making techniques
- Assist participants with any questions or concerns they may have during the workshop
- Ensure that all participants have a fun and memorable experience
- Clean up the workshop area after each session and ensure that all equipment and materials are properly stored
- Collaborate with other team members to continually improve and refine the workshop experience
- Package and label finished candies for sale
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Requirements:
- Previous experience in candy-making or a related field preferred, but not required
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Passion for creating high-quality candies
- BILINGUAL, FRENCH AND ENGLISH.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16 - 40 per week
Salary: $15.25-$16.00 per hour
