Cannabis Delivery Driver - Contractor

Select Cannabis is a family owned and operated cannabis dispensary in Edmonton, AB. We pride ourselves in providing the best customer service and now Select Cannabis is hiring for a contractor position to do cannabis deliveries so we can better serve the entire Edmonton area.

This job is for you if you enjoy driving your own vehicle, working independently and having a straightforward job with consistent hours of work.

We are looking to hire a self-motivated, reliable and trustworthy individual. This individual is also punctual, has great communications skills and is comfortable working primarily alone.

Tasks this individual will be expected to do are as follows:

- Driving around the Edmonton area and at times to St. Albert and Sherwood Park

- Pick up deliveries from stores on time and ability to delivery orders within a provided time frame safely

- The individual will be asked to create their own routes to do deliveries

- The individual will need to communicate with customers and staff as they begin and complete delivery orders

Responsibilities

- To ensure you have a reliable vehicle to drive around Edmonton, St. Albert and Sherwood Park to do deliveries

- Picking up correct number of delivery orders and creating a route

- Driver needs to be able to communicate professionally with customers in regards to estimated time of arrivals and when they deliver orders

- The driver is responsible in ensuring the correct order is delivered to the correct customer

- Ability to communicate with staff when driver has completed a delivery

Requirements

- 18 and older

- Sellsafe

- Valid Driver’s License

- Reliable Vehicle with a valid license plate (not expired)

- The driver understands how to create a route for deliveries

- The driver understands how to use a GPS, Apple Maps and/or Google Maps

Working Conditions:

The hours for this position are separated into two delivery windows Monday to Sunday (Schedule can be arranged once driver is hired):

o Delivery Window #1: from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. (based on amount of orders)

o Delivery Window #2: from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (based on amount of orders)

- This is a contractor position as a Delivery Driver and involves driving majority of the time

Wage:

- Drivers are paid per delivery + The driver keeps all the tips

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $50.00-$120.00 per day

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Weekends as needed
