Cannabis Grow Associate

Western Cannabis is expanding their cultivation operations and is looking to hire 1 full time Grow Associate to join their growing team to help keep up with the high demand!

Description:

Working closely under the direction of the Director of Plant Sciences, Area Manger, and QA department, the Grow Associates are responsible for, but not limited to, the maintenance/cleanliness of the grow area, along with assisting the Grow Team with cultivation and maintenance of Cannabis plants.

As a full time employee, your hours of employment would consist of five 8 hour shifts, Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm.

Responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Follow company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) to maintain compliance with Western Cannabis and Health Canada regulations
• Daily cleaning and sanitization duties to maintain a clean and organized work/grow environment
• Assist in the cultivation and maintenance of cannabis plants throughout their lifecycle
• Perform tasks such as pruning, transplanting, and harvesting plants
• Completing daily records and documents
• Participate in regular training sessions

Candidate Profile:

• MUST BE RELIABLE
• No cannabis experience necessary
• High School Diploma or higher
• Be physically able to perform the duties of the position; including standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting (up to 50lbs), and sitting on a regular basis
• Must be ok working in an environment that is bright, loud, and aromatic.
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Takes initiative and is a self starter
• Ability to work independently and safely in a group environment
• Must have access to reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check

All employees must be 19+

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
