Junior Regulatory Inspector (Part Time Trainee)
Summary
The Zagime Cannabis Board is seeking a community member who is 19 years of age or older to train in the role of Junior Regulatory Inspector. The Junior Regulatory Inspector will report directly to the Cannabis Inspector. This role will be based out of Regina and will require travel. The Junior Inspector liaises along side the Cannabis Inspector with permitted establishments to promote and ensure compliance with Zagim Anishinabk requirements and expectations with respect to the production, testing, processing, sale, and distribution of cannabis. This will be accomplished using a variety of strategies, including as appropriate, education, inspections, and investigation.
Job Duties
Report to Cannabis Inspector.
Gather information along side the Cannabis Inspector, from a variety of sources, including interviews with applicants and other key People.
Follow standard operating procedures.
Attend Board Meetings as required.
Complete required training assigned by the Cannabis Inspector.
Other work as assigned by the Cannabis Inspector.
Travel to inspection sites with occasional meetings will be required.
Training Requirements
The Cannabis Compliance Inspector will act as the training instructor.
There will be periodic examination by written test to assess learning objective and academic success.
The successful candidate must achieve the required competencies of modules 1, 2, and 3 of Zagim Cannabis Board Compliance Inspector Training Program.
