Caregiver / Personal Support Worker

Duties:
- Provide care and assistance to individuals who require support with daily activities
- Assist with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and restrictions
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning and organizing living spaces
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior to appropriate medical personnel
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients

Skills:
- Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Please note that this job may require heavy lifting and physical exertion. It is important for caregivers to have the physical stamina necessary to perform these tasks.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Salary: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Holidays
• On call
• Weekends as needed

Licence/Certification:

• PSW Certificate (required)
