Caregiver (Personal Support Worker) - Par02Ck

We are currently recruiting for a Personal Support Worker to assist our female client with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in all activities of daily living.

Location:

• Parksville (Near Englishman River Rail Trail)

Shifts & Hours of Work:

• Every other Friday and Sunday
• 10Am-3PM (some flexibility on start and end time)

Compensation:

• $28 per hour

Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):

• Daily personal care such as showering, dressing, washroom routine, oral care
• Assist the client with transfers using portable floor lift
• Assist with wound care (if experienced)
• Meal preparation & light housekeeping

Required Qualifications:

• 1 year of caregiving experience is required
• Fully Vaccinated
• Experience with transfers using portable floor lift is required
• Driver’s License (Class 5) is highly preferred
• Must be non-smoker
• Must be comfortable working in an environment with a cat
• Communicates absences and changes in a timely manner
