Caretaker/Apartment Manager

We are looking for an Independent Caretaker for an apartment building in Stony Plain. The successful candidate will live in the building and be responsible for daily operations, general maintenance, customer service, and bookkeeping.

Responsibilities:

• General maintenance: clean common areas and seasonal outdoor maintenance
• Customer service: respond to resident’s concerns and questions, advertise and show available suites, ensure rent is collected, general communications, etc. You are the person tenants see and rely on in matters related to their home
• Advertise and show available suites. This includes interviewing prospective tenants, checking references, move-in/move-out reports
• General repairs as needed, prepare suites so they are ready to be rented
• Bookkeeping and maintaining confidential records

Reguirements:

• Must be a handyman/woman
• Work independently and efficiently
• Good time-management skills - able to prioritize and set your own schedule to perform duties in timely fashion
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Reliable
• Have a vehicle with valid driver’s license
• Plumbing and Boiler experience is a strong asset
