**Hybrid position 4 days at our Dorval office and 1 day remote working**

Objectives & Responsibilities:

The Operations coordinator is the link between the airline, the airline contractors, such as cargo or ramp handlers, the customer service department and the sales team. He ensures all airline policies, procedures or changes are relayed to the concerned staff. He is involved and has overall knowledge of the different levels of the airline operation. All this is to be performed with the overall quality, productivity, and profitability of the company in mind. He must also be proficient in oral and written communications, remain cognizant of all company policies and procedures, and be able to deal with brio with delicate customer situations.

An ideal applicant will possess these essential qualifications and skills:

  • At least 2 years of experience in the airfreight business, with operational background and deep knowledge of the Air Cargo industry.
  • Bilingualism spoken & written (English/French)
  • A positive and passionate personality, with the ability to communicate well with people
  • Motivation skills (Training/Coaching)
  • A demonstrated proficiency with computers, and recent experience using Windows-based software
  • An ability to multitask in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment

As an Operation coordinator, you will:

  • Manage the flights from different stations
  • Be involved in daily operations
  • Operational responsibility for the warehouse
  • Liaising with customers, suppliers and transport companies
  • Having a clear understanding of the company's policies and vision and how the warehouse contributes.
  • Responding to and dealing with customer communication by email and telephone
  • Planning future capacity requirements;
  • Producing regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis; defining corrective actions
  • All other tasks that may be requested by the operations manager
