Responsabilities:
- Monitor, analyze and respond to competitive pricing actions, trends and market practices in a timely fashion
- Develop and implement pricing initiatives in response to various demand indicators to support the Corporate objectives
- Analyze reports and identify trends to support Pricing changes to optimize revenue
- Review and update existing and new pricing agreements
- Understand and utilize SPA (Special Program Agreement) agreements and trucking network rates to maximize network opportunities
- Monitoring of SRA (Spot Rate Agreement) utilization and provide tracking report. Provide post-audit of spot rates authorized
- Work closely with Capacity Management and Sales to identify pricing opportunities
- Identify opportunities to improve revenue using different levers
- Actively participate in strategic meetings
- Develop and maintain expertise in cargo tools and techniques as well as cargo information systems
- Support the evaluation, analysis and development of automated solutions to processes and reports
- Participate in the evaluation and design of new and revised internal and external analysis reports
- Extract and manipulate large data sets to provide intelligence for pricing decisions
- Identify market and revenue opportunities
- Periodic visits with the Sales and Operations teams
Qualifications
- University degree required. Studies in mathematics, economics, accounting, business or statistics would be an asset
- Solid business/commercial orientation and experience as well as an understanding of the airline industry competitive
- Ability to work on multiple tasks and to prioritize heavy workloads and tight deadlines
- Ability to work under general direction
- Strong leadership, analytical, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Advanced knowledge of computers, Excel, Access and Power BI.
