We are currently recruiting for a Carpenter (1 position open for a local candidate) to join the team at the Dawson Creek Hospital Project!

Responsibilities:
- Be able to comprehend and have good knowledge of blueprint readings and prepare layouts
- Understand industrial concrete forming, be able to build concrete forms, and other structures
- Complete rough and finishing carpentry tasks, while utilizing appropriate math skills
- Check completed units to be sure they are level, square, plumb and the right size, shape and location
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Have either a Journeyperson Ticket from a recognized provincial training authority, or be a Registered Carpenter Apprentice
- Non-ticketed carpenters must provide proof of hours relevant to the industrial Carpentry trade
- Fall Protection and Confined Space is an asset
- Ability to coach, mentor and train apprentices
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Describe and point out safety compliance and regulatory issues
