Worley Energy Solutions Ltd. is seeking:

Carpenter Foreperson

To work at our BHP Potash Mine Project in Jansen, Saskatchewan.

• SALARY: $51.05
• BENEFITS: 3% Pension & 3% RRSP + CLAC Benefits
• OVERTIME: After 8 hours in a day
• LOA: N/A
• TRAVEL: Travel allowance provided
• ACCOMMODATIONS: Camp
• START DATE: ASAP
• SCHEDULE: 14 days on 7 days off
• HOURS PER DAY: 10.5
• PAY SCHEDULE: Weekly Pay (Friday)
• SHIFT: 14/7
• DURATION: 6 Months +

Requirements:

• Grout and Flat Work Experience
• Foreperson Experience running crews
• CSTS 2020 Certification
• WHMIS2015
• ESC Elevated Work Platform
• ESC Fall Protection
• Must be a registered Apprentice or Journeyman Carpenter
• Must have demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision
• Industrial experience is an asset, working primarily outdoors in various weather conditions

Responsibilities:

• Comprehends blueprint readings to prepare layouts including selecting materials, planning sequences and methods of work, measuring and marking materials to avoid costly mistakes or omissions
• Understand industrial concrete forming and engineered forming systems to accurately build concrete forms, bridges, trestles, tunnels, shelters, towers, and other structures
• Checks completed units to be sure they are level, square, plumb and the right size, shape and location.
• May perform other duties as assigned
