Carpenters Apprentice /Labourer

Local small business, O’leary Construction, is Looking for a full-time Carpenters Apprentice/labourer to join our team. We are looking for someone who will work along side our full time carpenter that is eager for the experience of hands on learning to advance their own skill base. For over 7 years the team has been doing home renovations including not limited too, kitchens, bathroom, staircases, basements, and windows and siding. We take pride in delivering the highest of quality and customer standards.

Duties

-Must have a vehicle

- Assist carpenters with various tasks such as measuring, cutting, and shaping wood

-Lifting heavy demolition material

- Assist with the installation of doors, windows, and other fixtures

- Help build and assemble structures according to blueprints and schematics

- Lay tiles and other flooring materials

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications

-Previous carpentry and labour experience is an asset not must

-Able to work with others in a team setting or independently

-Strong organizational and planning skills, able to priorities work day tasks efficiently

-Strong work discipline and a attendance record

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods of time
