YOU are a coach, athlete, and player. You have in depth knowledge of the products we carry because you play in the arenas, courts, and fields of these sports. What You’ll Do;

Team Town Sports is gearing up for an adrenaline-pumping season as we kick off our newest retail store in Whitby in February 2024! We're recruiting an exceptional Cash Lead to join our team. Within this role, you will be responsible for creating an environment that delivers an excellent customer experience by providing exceptional interaction during the completion of the sale transactions. You connect with our customers and staff through our shared passions. You will help uphold, foster, and live our core values while connecting the store with the local community.

  • Leads by example, providing exceptional customer service to Team Town’s internal and external customer.
  • Authorization of exchanges and returns.
  • Member growth customers if they’re in our database and if not offering to add profiles.
  • Responsible for setting up and maintaining cash office to corporate standard.
  • Ensures paperwork is complete and accurate on a daily basis including bank deposits, reconciliations, balancing the safe, cash floats and petty cash.
  • Participates in the direction and control of opening and closing procedures and ready for business standards.
  • Controls shortage and loss ensuring all loss prevention standards are promoted and complied with by all employees.
  • Actively participate in our team tasks to deliver a full experience to our customers including store cleanliness, merchandising, and restocking of product and control of inventory.
  • Prepares and maintains various financial reports; works in liaison with the accounting department.

  • You have a desire to continually learn.
  • You have experience in a lead cashier role or equivalent experience in a retail environment.
  • You have passion, knowledge, dedication, and a commitment for the sports and activities we support in our stores.
