Under the supervision of the Head Cashier, this position is responsible for providing top-notch customer service, accurate cash-handling, stocking and facing the shelves, and maintaining all company standards through adhering to all cash handling policies and procedures.
Other Responsibilities:
- Processing transactions in a timely and efficient manner
- Processing interact and credit card payments
- Cash handling and reconciliation
- Processing returns and exchanges
- Promoting sales and events
- Memorizing produce and various product codes
- Leave a lasting positive impression on all customers that shop at Quality Greens
- Adhering to company loss prevention standards
- Working closely with the Head Cashier
- Covering additional shifts as necessary in order to meet the operational needs of the store
- Handling customer inquiries or complaints in a professional manner
- Stocking and facing shelves
- Maintain consistency in providing excellent customer service
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment
- Adhere to Health and Safety policies, including exposure control notices if required to cleanup biohazard waste (training provided)
- Receiving and maintaining stock
- Liaise and communicate effectively with staff and other departments
- Maintaining a positive work environment
- Serves as a role model for the company’s vision and instills these values in the team members
- Performs other duties as assigned or directed
Qualifications/Requirements:

- Have previous experience in a customer service oriented environment
- Have previous cash handling experience
- Have the ability to memorize many different codes
- Have good mathematical skills
- Excel when working in a fast-paced environment
- Have a passion for providing excellent customer service

- Have the ability to prioritize in order to meet deadlines
- Have the ability and willingness to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays if necessary

Salary: $16.75-$18.00 per hour
