Downtown Julie Brown's Next Gen is a small business in Foxboro, ON. We are professional, agile, customer-centric, and our goal is to Hire 3 employee's for our food truck season 2024. We have 2 locations Foxboro at the Foodland and Trenton car wash. Employees may have to switch between each truck every so often. Training will take place at the Trenton location until the Foxboro location opens for the season. .

```Duties:```

- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist

- Follow all relevant food safety and sanitation guidelines

- Monitor food stock and communicate any shortages to the kitchen manager

- Assist in the development and implementation of new menu items

- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding food handling, preparation, and storage

```Requirements:```

- Previous experience in the food industry as a cook or similar role

- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures (FOOD HANDLERS CERT.)

- Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects as needed

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

note: this is a food truck position employment is from March to August possible extension to beginning/mid September.

Position will not just be cooking but taking orders and preparing take out boxes for the food.

Customer service is a must.

Salary: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
