Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Process customer returns and exchanges following company policies
- Upsell products and services to maximize sales opportunities
- Communicate effectively with customers to answer questions, provide product information, and resolve any issues or concerns
- Perform product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
Requirements:
- Basic math skills to handle cash transactions and provide accurate change
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
- Ability to upsell products and services to increase sales revenue
- Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems is preferred but not required
- Cash handling experience is a plus
- Multilingual abilities are a bonus for serving diverse customer needs
- Technical sales knowledge is beneficial for providing product recommendations
