Job Description:

Blue Grass, Calgary's largest Nursery and Garden Center is looking for outgoing, reliable people to work in our Garden Centre. We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Cashier/Stocker to join our team. As a Cashier/Stocker, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling cash transactions, and ensuring the store shelves are stocked and organized. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for delivering excellent service.

This position is seasonal and could potentially run from April to October.

Responsibilities:

· Greet customers and assist them with their purchases.

· Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.

· Stock shelves with merchandise and ensure proper product placement.

· Monitor inventory levels and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies.

· Provide product information and assist customers in finding items.

· Assisting customers by carrying out purchases to their vehicle.

· Upsell products and promote special offers to maximize sales.

· Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional manner.

· Collaborate Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately with team members to achieve store goals and targets.

· Answering questions on our products, services, return policies, and warranty policy.

Requirements:

· Previous experience in technology sales or customer service is preferred.

· Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.

· Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.

· Excellent communication skills in English.

· Basic math skills for calculating prices and providing change.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

· Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to upsell products.

· At least 1 year of experience in a customer service role
