Casual ACP Position

Lakeside EMS Inc is the ambulance service provider for the O'Chiese and Sunchild First Nations.  We provide 24/7 ALS coverage for these two vibrant and dynamic communities located northwest of Rocky Mountain House.

We are currently looking to recruit several casual ACP's to join our team.  Applicants must be self-motivated and have good communication and critical thinking skills.  They must also be culturally aware/competent and must be comfortable working in a remote geographical location with extended transport times. Minimum of 1 year EMS experience required and experience working with marginalized and vulnerable populations or in other First Nations communities is an asset.

Advanced Care Paramedics are responsible to treatment and transport sick and injured in accordance with provincial MCPs. Basic station and ambulance cleaning/maintenance duties are also required.

Accommodations are provided at our station on O'Chiese First Nation. Transportation from Rocky Mountain House via crew change out truck is also provided. Calls are predominantly emergent in nature with no IFTs or Flexing. Hospital wait times are minimal.
