Position: CCTV Helper
Location: Mississauga
Reports To: Superintendent
** This is a unionized position and successful candidates will be required to join the union upon acceptance of job offer.
Responsibilities:
- Strong attention to detail when documenting on-site work including photographs, videos, and distribution.
- Conduct work within sanitary/storm manholes in a safe and effective manner.
- Assist with the operation of CCTV inspection robot systems.
- Assist with sewer flushing/cleaning and reaming.
- Maintain all equipment in good operating condition by cleaning and performing minor repairs when required.
- Manage on-site equipment installation/maintenance/calibration/inspection tasks
- Plan and conduct field investigations, evaluate asset conditions for a variety of planned proposals, programs, and projects pertaining to drainage infrastructure.
- Manage the flow of information from office to field, understand production schedules and adjust daily work to meet production measures.
- Ability to work some nights and weekends
Skills & Qualifications:
· Previous experience in underground utility construction, private locates and inspection equipment is an asset
· Valid Ontario Driver’s License is required
· Self-motivated, goal-oriented with a strong focus on customer service
· Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
· Demonstrated ability to solve problems with a sense of ownership, enthusiasm and innovation
· Excellent organizational skills; ability to prioritize and control workload
· Ability to learn new technologies
· Ability to work well independently, under pressure
