Headquartered in Atlanta, GA, our storage operations are currently spread across North America, and expanding as we develop, build, and acquire best-in-class cold storage facilities to serve our customers’ needs.

What we’re looking for:

As a CDL Driver with Envision Cold, you will provide an essential service transporting food products to various facilities in and around the Greater Vancouver area. Should you choose to become an Owner/Operator, there will be option to lease the truck.

What you’ll do (including, but not limited to):

• Transport refrigerated food products and cargo to and from specified locations as instructed by company dispatchers.
• Strategically plan travel routes to ensure that all deliveries are completed in a timely manner.
• Review dispatchers' instructions before deliveries to prevent any errors or miscommunications.
• Perform inspections of the designated truck before and after each delivery to ensure that it is mechanically sound.
• Promptly inform management of any mechanical issues that render the designated truck unroadworthy.
• Maintain a logbook with an accurate account of the number of hours worked, rest periods, and mileage covered.
• Submit cargo documents to customers and obtain customer signatures to confirm receipt of the correct cargo.
• Notify dispatch of any damaged cargo.
• Supervise the safe loading and unloading of cargo.
• Responsible for providing service to our company 5 days a week/replacement trucks are necessary.
• Average pay is $56/hour (combination of hourly and % of load)
• Average work week is 45-60 hours.
• Schedule is primarily 6AM – 4PM, Monday – Friday (with occasional weekends)
• Truck is for sale, cost is negotiable.

What you’ll bring to the role:

• 2 years minimum commercial driving experience required; experience in the Greater Vancouver area highly preferred.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Completion of a tractor-trailer driver training program is encouraged.
• Sound knowledge of road safety regulations, loading and unloading procedures, as well as weight restrictions.
• Experience and responsibility for truck maintenance.
• The ability to utilize GPS systems, road maps, and routing software.
• The ability to concentrate for extended periods.
• Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills including strong spoken and written English.
• Positive attitude and team player.

Please note this role does have the option of leasing the truck and becoming an Owner/Operator. Details are noted below.

Payment Terms:

• Lease to own is an option.
• Fair terms and we will work with an individual’s financial requirements to ensure a successful tenure with us.
• Driver is responsible for the following:
  • Fuel
  • Auto and Workers’ Comp Insurance
  • Motor Vehicle Registration
• We will cover the Cargo Insurance
• Operate under out NSC
