Chainsaw / Chipper Operator

Responsibilities:
- Arborist Groundsman and Chipper Operator
- Use hand tools to assist with general maintenance and operation
- Operate and control chipper and dump truck
- General farm and tree service assistance
- Perform general labour duties as assigned
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:
- Mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Valid Class G Driver's License with a clean driving record for commercial driving purposes
- Must be qualified to get a DZ License, fulfil all pre-exam qualifications
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

- Valid Class DZ Driver's License (preferred)
- Chainsaw Certification (preferred)
- Professional Chainsaw Experience - 2 Years (preferred)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Education:

• Secondary School (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Class G Driver's Licence (required)

Ability to Commute:

• Bloomfield, ON K0K 1G0 (required)
