Job description

What will be your daily pursuit?:
The Food and Beverage Team Lead under general direction trains, schedules and directs frontline staff to perform their duties to Guest Experience standards.
Compensation:
The starting wage for this role is $17.50 per hour.

What will you do in this job?:
  • Preparation and verification of daily cash reports
  • Ensuring accurate cash, debit and credit card transactions
  • Training staff and ensuring everyone feels confident in their role
  • Supervising and supporting the on the floor
  • Coordinate Food and Beverage orders and inventory
  • Update staffs schedule and changes
  • Interacts with customers and maintains the highest level of customer service
  • Involved in the making of and receiving food orders
  • Receive payment for all services provided to the customer
  • Listen and respond to customer complaints
  • Ensure the restaurant area is clean and organized at all times
  • Relieve Servers as required
  • Uphold the high standard of environmental stewardship expected for all employees
  • Other duties as assigned
What skills and experience do you need for this job?:
  • Must get excited at the idea of living and working in a remote (yet very social) environment
  • Mature, energetic, dependable and self-motivated;
  • Natural ability to lead a team
  • Detail oriented with good communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Some accounting experience an asset and experience with Word and Excel
  • POS system experience is an asset
  • Cash handling experience
  • High volume experience
  • Handle stress in a professional manner
  • Enjoy working with a team in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time
  • Must meet the Organization grooming and appearance standards

What will your work environment be like?:
This fun summer role runs from April 29 to October 15, 2024!

  • Typically, 5 days on/2 days off
  • 6 days on/1 day off during Peak Periods
  • No specific days off, can rotate over the weeks and depending on business level
  • Long Weekends may incur schedule changes
  • Expect 30 – 50+ hours per week depending on business levels
  • Beautiful. You’ll work in iconic, unforgettable and inspiring locations. You’ll see amazing scenery and wildlife. You’ll participate in team events – and fun!
  • Independent. You’ll spend your days in and around national parks.
  • Remote. Our home is filled with trees, lakes and blue-bird skies; rather than buildings, freeways and smog. Connect with friends around a bonfire instead of through WiFi
  • Busy. You need to be prepared for a physical working environment with walking, stair climbing, bending, reaching, lifting (up to 50 pounds with assistance) required
