Location is flexible, within Alberta, dependent on the successful applicant.

However, periodically may be asked to work in Lacombe Central Officer or other AFSC branches. Travel in these circumstances will be reimbursed according to AFSC's Employee and Board of Directors Expense Policy.

The Change Management Coordinator (CMC), reporting to the Change Management Professional, is tasked with establishing positive internal relationships within AFSC and leading change implementation to boost business success. The CMC is pivotal in supporting the human side of change, encompassing business processes, systems, technology, job roles, and organizational structures.

This role will focus on building relationships and working with others, often providing direct support and coaching to all levels of managers and supervisors as they help their direct reports through transitions.

What will you be responsible for?

  • Support the creation and implementation of Change Management plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance. Help create actionable deliverables for the five Change Management levers: communication plan; sponsor roadmap, coaching plan; training plan, resistance management plan.
  • Liaise with leaders and colleagues to manage internal relationships. Strengthen and enhance relationships between branches and LCO to realize business goals and the success of AFSC, our people and our producers.
  • Optimize internal communication by providing support, advice, and feedback to leaders, while contributing to communication efforts by developing, delivering, and managing communications across channels to enhance adoption of change initiatives.
  • Provide support and coaching to managers and supervisors as they help direct reports through transitions. Support project teams in integrating Change Management activities into their project plans.
  • Support training efforts by providing expertise and input, and support the design and delivery of training programs.
  • Conduct stakeholder analysis, address concerns, impacts, issues, risks, and assess adaptability to change. Work with project owners to offer improvement recommendations and proactive risk mitigation actions.
  • Track, measure, and evaluate the effectiveness of Change Management actions and suggest corrective actions if necessary.

  • Ability to travel within Alberta; has a valid driver's license

Qualifications

Minimum: 1 - 3 years' experience in Organizational Change Management or equivalent

  • Experience and knowledge of Change Management principles, methodologies and tools
  • Recognized Change Management certification/experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of business analysis and continuous improvement practices

Preferred: Prosci Certification

Yellow Belt Trained - Process Improvement

Candidates may be considered based on a combination of education and related experience.
