Cheerleading Gym - HR & Gym Manager

Perfect Storm Athletics Calgary is looking to add to our management team!

We are a dynamic growing business with all-star cheerleading and other related programs geared towards youth and young adults. The successful candidate will have a strong background in leadership and management, a growth mindset for business development, show great attention to detail and the ability and desire to work in a team-based environment. As part of the Perfect Storm Athletics Calgary management team you will play an integral role in the gym’s communication with its members and will work to build strong relationships between yourself, the staff, and the families.

What is the role of the HR & Gym Manager at Perfect Storm Athletics Calgary?

• Lead and develop a team of coaches to deliver an exceptional experience.
• Create a positive, high energy environment for the athletes and their families.
• Communicate with families and athletes in the program as needed.
• Participate in weekly meetings with staff from all Perfect Storm Athletics locations.
• Work within a management team to ensure we are providing a quality program.
• Scheduling of staff.
• Attend gym activities including those at the gym as well as events and competitions. Some travel may be required.

What skills/qualifications do I need to bring to qualify for the position?

• Relevant post secondary education is an asset.
• Previous experience in sports management and/or understanding of the sport of cheerleading is an asset.
• Management experience is an asset.

Compensation and Work Hours

• Full-Time salaried position; based on a 40 hour work week
• Salary: TBD. Includes opportunities for bonuses.
