Job Summary: Responsible for packaging, weighing and merchandising at the Cheese counter. Also responsible for serving all customers in a courteous and efficient manner.

Reports to: Cheese Department Head.

Job Duties

- Ensures that customers in the cheese counter are served in a prompt and courteous manner.
- Cutting, packaging, weighing, taping product.
- Stocks and merchandises counter.
- May receive and check invoices of Cheese and Dairy products.
- May assist with the Dairy department.
- May assist with Curbside orders.
- All other duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements

- Strong customer service skills are required.
- Ability to work independently and part of a team.
- Basic math skills are required.
- Knowledge of Cheese and cheese products is considered an asset.
- Experience working with cheese slicers, overhead wrapping machines and vacuum pack machines is considered an asset.
- Available for flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the store.

Essential Job Functions

- Standing and walking for extended periods of time.
- Bend and stoop to grasp objects and climb ladders.
- Bend and twist the upper body, reach above and below shoulders.
- Bend and lift loads, up to 50 pounds.
- Push and pull carts weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Repetitive use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulation.
