Located just minutes from downtown Montreal, LUX Air Services Inc. is a growing company operating a ground operation and fuelling service (FBO/Fixed-Base Operation) at St-Hubert Airport (CYHU).LUX also operates a terminal at Quebec City Jean Lesage International Airport (CYQB).
Our parent company, Chrono Aviation, was founded in Quebec City in 2012. At the beginning, the company operated a Pilatus PC-12 and employed two pilots. Today, Chrono Aviation has a fleet of 14 aircraft and a team of 280 employees.
Role and Context
The Chef will be responsible for ensuring the production of dishes.He/she will also participate in the development of menus, the choice of suppliers, the reception and the control of supplies.The Sous Chef will replace the Executive Chef when he/she is absent and will be responsible for the management of the entire kitchen.
Key responsibilities
•To ensure that the quality service established by the Chief Executive is carried out correctly
•Manage purchasing, inventory and stocktaking
•Participate in the analysis and management of costs (mastery of ratios, technical sheets, explanations of any discrepancies, etc.)
•Performing various administrative and planning tasks
•Leading the team and helping to keep members motivated

Specific job requirements
•Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) or equivalent with cooking or hotel option (an asset)
•3 to 5 years of relevant experience
•Relevant training in health and safety, hygiene and sanitation
•Ability to adapt to the pace of orders
•Rigour and meticulousness
