Your responsibilities will include:
  • Conduct research to develop or improve chemical processes, reactions, and products.
  • Evaluate materials and techniques for chemical processing.
  • Design and experiment with chemical processing equipment and installations.
  • Monitor the construction, operation, and maintenance of facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with current standards.
  • Determine production specifications and guidelines for handling hazardous chemicals.
  • Develop standards for the materials and products concerned.
What we're looking for:
  • University degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field;
  • Proven experience in a quality engineer role within a manufacturing environment;
  • Excellent understanding of quality management systems and regulatory requirements;
  • Membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec;
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the manufacturing sector (an asset);
  • Demonstrate perseverance, rigor, curiosity, initiative, and autonomy;
  • Have a strong sense of priorities, be methodical and structured;
  • Possess aptitudes for teamwork with multidisciplinary groups.
