Civil Construction Labourer/Pipe Layer

Responsibilities:
- Install and repair underground pipelines for various utilities, including water, sewer, and storm
- Connect pipes using welding techniques or mechanical fittings as well as push-fit
- Ensure proper alignment and grade of pipes during installation
- Perform inspections to identify any leaks or damages in existing pipelines
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and according to specifications

Experience:
- Previous experience as a pipelayer or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of carpentry and mechanical principles preferred including concrete work
- Familiarity with different types of pipes and pipe materials
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools such as chainsaws, cut off saws, drills, other
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $31.00-$38.00 per hour
