What we are looking for:

Claims Supervisor

Adjuster's License or CIP certification required.

Summary of Authority and Responsibility
We are currently recruiting a Claims Supervisorto join our Commercial Lines team in Alberta.

In this role you will work as part of the Inside Claims supervisory team to achieve operational & divisional goals and motivate team members through coaching, mentoring, monitoring performance quality and technical assistance. Participate in the quality assurance process and assist manager with administrative tasks and strategy implementation. The candidate will have a strong commitment to meeting key performance indications in accordance with client service level agreements.

  • You will Lead a team of casualty claims handlers as they navigate options that contribute to solutions including coaching, mentoring, performance management and career development.
  • Provide direction, guidance, training, and technical advice to aid in the development of adjusters and exceptional customer service.
  • Attend Claims Leadership meetings & Committees.
  • Identifies and addresses barriers to effective teamwork.

Minimum Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of leadership experience
  • 7 years’ experience in all lines claims handling with an emphasis on casualty matters.
  • Effective management and training skills
  • Able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and mathematical skills required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective PC-Based tools skills including MS-Windows, Outlook and Office along with the capability to learn custom applications.
  • Fully Licensed Adjuster in Ontario
  • CIP or FCIP and CRM designation preferred.
