Jody Holdings Ltd is looking for 5 permanent, full-time, Class 1A long-haul Truck Drivers.
Class 1A drivers licence mandatory.
Long-haul transport Truck Drivers. Frequent & regular trips across
Saskatchewan, Alberta & Manitoba
Operate and drive primarily Super B tractor-trailer, long-
combination vehicle and straight-body trucks weighing over 4500 kg
to transport goods and materials over long distances.
Complying with federal and provincial trucking rules and
regulations, including mandatory rest periods and weight
restrictions.
Plan trip logistics and obtain required documentation to transport
goods.
Perform pre-trip, enroute and post-trip inspection of vehicle
systems, equipment, and accessories such as tires, brakes, lights
and turning signals.
Ensure cargo is loaded safe & secured properly in accordance with
safety requirements & proper weights are achieved.
Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and
fuel consumption.
Administer bills of lading and manually or electronically maintain
logbooks.
Communicate effectively with dispatcher, other drivers, and
customers.
Professional & positive attitude, team player.
Problem solving when dealing with unexpected situations such as
weather, road conditions, breakdowns, etc.
Perform preventative maintenance & cleanliness of the vehicle
(inside & out)
May perform emergency roadside repairs.
May drive as part of a two-person team or convoy.
Shifts will be determined by Hours-of-Service Cycle 1 for Federally
Regulated Transport Drivers.
Flexible work hours: Shifts are primarily Monday to Friday with
weekend shifts available.
Gross pay is $25/Hr OR $0.45 / KM driven, whichever is higher for
the job.
Payroll is paid bi-weekly with vacation pay calculated & paid out
each pay period.
Drivers will be based out of our shop located at 1000A North Railway
St. Swift Current, Saskatchewan.
