CLASS 3 DRIVER WITH AIR BRAKES / WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

The Moncton Branch is one of 9 branches.

We currently have an opening for Temporary/Full time Delivery Driver, Requiring Class 3 DRIVER’s license with Air Brakes Endorsement. Servicing the following Area’s in the Maritime region: New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and the Prince Edward Island.

Drivers Qualifications/ Requirements/Asset:

*High School Diploma or GED

*Motivated

*Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Valid New Brunswick Class 3 Driver’s License
• Valid Air Brakes Endorsement
• Clean driver’s abstract
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• French not required- considered an asset

IF/When Deliveries are not required, WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE duties will be required/available for hours:

-Picking & packing of customer orders efficiently

- Building skids

- Strapping skids

- Learning the product

- Cleaning in and around the warehouse

- Other miscellaneous tasks as directed by supervisor(s)

- Saw cutting

Requirements/Asset:

- High School Diploma or GED

-Motivated

-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Forklift/side loader operator (WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE only) – considered an asset.

-Punctual & Reliable

-Positive attitude & good work ethic

-Effective written & verbal communication skills

-Ability to use and read a tape measure

-Ability to complete orders according to instructions

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the truck in a safe, efficient, and productive manner according to ASA Alloys policy & procedures.
• Provide efficient, reliable, professional service to customers.
• Perform general daily maintenance and repairs as required per driver's log.

Experience required: 4 years of safe driving experience.

Hourly Rate: Drivers are paid hourly.

Rate of pay: $22 to $26.00 per hour – Depending on experience.
