Reporting to the Assistant Manager Driver/Labourer employees have a wide array of duties and responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate 5-ton trucks with AIRBRAKES endorsement to transport household and commercial items to their destination.
• Lead a team of movers, fostering a culture of safety, communication, and respect among team members.
• Coordinate and execute efficient loading, unloading, and transportation of customer belongings.
• Handle shipments with care, ensuring proper packing and secure arrangement.
• Provide excellent customer service and address any concerns during the moving process.
• Uphold Arrowsmith's core values of safety, communication, customer satisfaction, integrity, reliability, and respect in all interactions.
• Perform heavy lifting and protect customer belongings from damage during handling.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks on the vehicle to ensure its proper functioning.
• Adhere to all transportation and safety regulations and guidelines.

Requirements:

• Valid 5 class drivers license
• AIRBRAKES endorsement is an asset but not required.
• A clean driver abstract with a proven track record of safe driving.
• Strong team leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide the moving crew.
• Prior experience as a mover is an asset but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members.
• Physical fitness and ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks.

Salary: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
