Job Title: Cleaner/Janitor

Location: Mount Pearl and Paradise

Job Type: Full-time/Part-time

Shifts: 9 PM or 11 PM starting time. (For 6-8 hrs)

We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our team. The ideal candidate should have the ability to commute and work in a fast-paced environment and have a Class 5 Driver's License.

Responsibilities:

Routine Floor Cleaning: Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors as part of regular maintenance.

Auto-scrubber Operation: Proficient use of autoscrubbers for efficient and effective floor cleaning.

Washroom Cleaning: Sanitizing and cleaning toilets, showers and sinks, as well as restocking toiletries and supplies.

Carpet Care: Extracting, steam cleaning, and spot removal on carpets.

Trash Removal: Emptying trash bins and disposing of waste in designated areas.

Window Cleaning: Cleaning interior and sometimes exterior windows, along with mirrors and other glass surfaces.

Detailed Inspection: Assessing floor conditions and identifying areas that require specific attention.

Maintenance of Equipment: Proper operation, cleaning, and basic maintenance of buffing and autoscrubbing machines.

Floor Buffing: Using buffing machines to maintain and restore the shine to various floor surfaces.

Floor Waxing: Stripping old wax from floors, applying new coats of wax, and ensuring an even, polished finish.

Qualifications

• Class 5 Driver's License
• Experience in floor maintenance, particularly with waxing, buffing, and the use of autoscrubbers.
• Knowledge of different flooring materials and appropriate cleaning methods.
• Ability to operate and maintain various industrial cleaning equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Good physical condition to perform labor-intensive tasks.
• Flexibility to work varied hours.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $15.00-$16.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
