Cleaning / Contents Technician

Hudson Restoration Inc. is expanding. We have recently opened our full service cleaning and contents facility in Orillia and are currently seeking a qualified Cleaning / Contents Technician to join our team !

Essential Functions:

1. Assist Project Manager and Construction Manager on assigned projects, both in house and on-site.

2. Become fully trained on all specialized cleaning equipment and processes both in house and on-site.

3. Assist the Contents division for transporting, inventory and cleaning of hard and soft contents. Ability to work independantly and as part of a specialized team.

4. Utilize company software (Encircle) for managing inventory and workflow.

5. Implement and perform quality checks to ensure that IICRC guidelines are strictly followed.

6. Provide daily cleaning and maintenance of content facility including Decontamination Depot and equipment.

7. Ensure Hudson Health & Safety policies are strictly followed both in house and on-site.

8. Develop & utilize a strong working knowledge of cleaning products, MSDS sheets, specialized cleaning equipment and company software.

9. Determine the correct PPE required by all workers on site and inspect to ensure that the PPE used is proper and in good working order.

10. Strong knowledge of H&S hazard precautions and site requirements.

11. Occasionally assist team with emergency response procedures such as water extraction, site cleaning, disinfection, etc.

12. Strong written and verbal communication.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

· Be available to be on call once a month for one week.

Job Requirements:

To be a successful candidate in this job opportunity, you should have 2 years of restoration / mitigation experience or related industry. You will be highly organized, customer focused and must be a team player.

Encircle and Microsoft Office software experience considered an asset.

· High School Diploma

· IICRC Certified or equivalent experience

Remuneration: Compensation is based on experience. Full company benefits to be provided after a 6 month probationary period.

Expected start date: 2024-03-04
