ECC family dayhome agency is a bilingual family dayhome agency which aim to implement Flight curriculum framework in our practice approach. The goal in this curriculum framework is to embrace, describe and interpret children’s everyday experiences.

We’re looking for a cleaner with a positive and diligent work attitude who enjoys joining a fast-paced environment like ECC family dayhome agency. Job description:

• Job title: cleaning man/woman
• Full-time permanent.
• Work hours: Monday-Friday, 35 hours/week
• Wage: $17.5/hour
• Work Location: 208 – 5720 Macleod Trail SW. Calgary, AB, T2H 0J6
• Language: English
• Vacation: 2 weeks of paid vacation per annum or remuneration of 4% of gross salary

Job responsibility:

• Understands and follows all health and safety policies and procedures. Works safely to reduce the risk of injury to kids, staff members.
• Are detail-oriented, energetic, and reliable.
• Work well in teams of other cleaners without direct supervision.
• Cleans and disinfects all common areas including classroom, dining room, bathrooms, activity areas, offices, hallways and other areas as directed.
• Cleans and disinfects telephone, furniture, kitchen and washroom fixtures, walls, ceilings, lights, vents, mirrors and windows.
• Vacuum and clean/shampoo carpeted areas.
• Performs cleaning duties according to established procedures.
• Empties and cleans all waste containers and transports garbage to designated area.
• Maintains utility and store rooms in a tidy and sanitary condition. May restock supplies.
• Dusts furniture and equipment. Report any damaged or unusable furniture and fixtures.
• Performs laundry duties as required (sorting, washing, drying, ironing, folding and delivering clean linen and clothing).

Qualifications:

Previous cleaning, housekeeping, hotel cleaning, room attendant, residential cleaning, office cleaning or general cleaning experience, Prior experience working with children are an asset however, not required.
