Responsibilities:
The Client Services Coordinator will identify opportunities and solutions to improve the administrative efficiency of the YWCA Prince Albert Oakdale Program in a confidential, professional environment. Liaise between Homeward Bound Management and Coordinators to ensure information is relayed in a smooth, accurate and timely manner. Point of contact for clients entering program and connecting to services.
Qualifications:
Experience in human services, supported housing, or with persons with disabilities/addictions;
Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture;
Drivers license;
Vehicle;
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Computer skills;
Must pass Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check;
Ability to work independently;
Good time management skills;
Basic Duties:
Demonstrate leadership in all areas, including confidentiality, positive work environment, conflict resolution and upholding policies;
Maintain written and computerized records, compile reports and complete other program documents (including case notes, statistics, letters, etc.);
Uphold and maintain policies and procedures for all Homeward Bound programs
Connection with clients to relevant community services.
Ensure critical incidents are properly documented and reported to manager
Follow safety and security polices at all times;
Other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary by management, to ensure the effective operation of Homeward Bound Oakdale;
Daily coordination with Supervisor and liaison for information sharing with staff members.
