Three Cedars MD is a thriving Family Medicine Clinic in beautiful Sidney, BC. Established in 2021, our freshly renovated clinic has expanded to be home to five friendly and collegial family physicians. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Clinic Manager to lead our team. The successful candidate will have relevant experience working in a medical office or related setting and have a demonstrated ability to lead others, manage conflict with sensitivity, and be prepared to manage all day-to-day operations of a medical clinic. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Human Resource Functions
· Recruit, train, support and supervise clinic MOA staff in a dynamic clinic setting and address HR issues as needed in conjunction with the Leadership Team.
· Manage administration needs and implement set policies and protocols.
· Facilitate onboarding and provide orientation for new clinical staff as needed.
· Coordinate MOA scheduling and staff payroll.
· Coordinate additional team supports including seasonal student positions.
· Act as a backup for front office staff when needed.
· Plan for, execute, and report annual staff performance reviews.
Clinic Operations
· Coordinate daily operations, monitor supply inventory, and ensure all clinical equipment is in good working order.
· Develop and maintain knowledge of resources for medical supplies and equipment, and manage vendor related relationships.
· Coordinate office supply purchases.
· Manage physical site needs and third party user contracts including janitorial services, rental use, and tenant issues.
· Support the coordination of Island Health and other partners' interests.
· Support daily technology and IT systems related needs.
· Support the maintenance of clinic records by supporting EMR user needs.
· Evaluate clinical operations and work with the Leadership Team to improve systems and procedures to maintain high-quality patient care and efficient operations.
· Regularly attend team meetings and report on concerns, ideas for improvement, and facilities or clinic site issues to the Leadership Team.
· Perform other duties within the scope of the position as assigned.
EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
· Minimum of two year’s work experience in a clinical setting; supervision experience preferred
· Must possess effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
· Must possess strong decision-making skills, diplomacy, tact, and flexibility
· Must possess strong aptitude for IT systems with experience with Electronic Medical Records (MYLE preferred)
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $34.00-$38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
