Clinic / Sterilization Assistant

Abbotsford Orthodontics is growing! We are seeking a Clinic/Sterilization Assistant to join our dedicated, fun and experienced team.

Job Summary:

- Your primary role will be in the clinic working directly with the Orthodontists and CDAs to maintain an efficient flow of the scheduled appointments and sterilization of instruments and has the potential to evolve based on the needs of the practice along with your background, experience and long-term goals.

- The position is 4 days (Monday to Thursday) but can 5 (Monday to Friday) if needed

- Would be ideal for a responsible young adult interested in the dental profession or healthcare looking to take the next steps towards a rewarding career

- Your flexible, outgoing personality and enthusiastic, eager attitude towards learning will be beneficial in this position

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Ensure instruments used in the clinic are sterilized and prepared for use as directed by Doctors and clinic coordinator

- Maintain adequate stock of clinic supplies at each unit and through clinic

- Contribute to a safe, clean, caring environment for patients and other team members

- Work towards gaining the knowledge of an orthodontic office to be able to troubleshoot and anticipate needs

Required Experience/skills to be a successful candidate for this position:

- Customer service experience in a group setting an asset

- High attention to detail with strong organizational skills and common sense

- Self-starter with outgoing personality and team player

- Comfortable working in a computerized office setting

- Strong verbal and written communication.

Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
