Job Description: The Clinical Nurse Analyst will be involved in complex, organization-wide eHealth transformation initiatives from idea generation, planning, implementation, evaluation & ongoing monitoring. The Analyst will communicate & engage with colleagues at all levels of the organization to effectively support the development & implementation of the electronic health record through: leading & facilitating the design of screens, forms, data flow & processes (current and future state mapping), documenting enduser requirements, configuring the application (OR Manager), preparing & maintaining the development of test scripts, participating in all levels of testing, providing activation support, participating in enduser training, providing ongoing support & maintenance.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Nursing
Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
Experience
5 years experience working as an operating room nurse.
Minimum 5 years experience working directly with SIS application.
Experience in business process mapping and process redesign required.
Previous experience in application configuration an asset.
Previous experience leading quality improvement projects an asset.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to embrace and champion the process improvements and clinical transformation resulting from the product implementation (lead change and practice direction)
Ability to troubleshoot basic technical problems related to the configuration, testing, implementation and processing of a software application
Ability to work within a culture that supports emergent innovation and collaboration
