Clinical Psychologist

Hale Psychological Services (HPS) has availability for a new Clinical Associate at our Brookside Centre in Fredericton, NB!

We are looking for Licensed Psychologists, Registered Social Workers, or Licensed Counselling Therapists, with experience providing evidence-based therapy and/or psychological, psychoeducational, Autism/ADHD, and/or neuropsychological assessments with children, adolescents, and/or adults, in French or English.

Full-time or part-time availabilility in our beautifully renovated new Brookside Centre. In-person, virtual, and/or working remote optional.

Comprehensive Group Benefit plans available to those who work more than 20 hours/week. Supervision is available, if required.

The Clinical Associate will join a well-established multi-disciplinary team of qualified healthcare providers. Our exceptional Site and Support Supervisors, Psychometrists, and Administrative team are highly trained to look after your scheduling and billing needs, and will help you to create customized intake forms and psychometric questionnaires based on your needs to save you time administering and collecting important client information. Our Psychometrists have developed efficient waitlist management programs to best match you with your ideal clients.

Associates have access to an extensive and comprehensive Psychological Test Library with up-to-date tests available in both French and English at both of our centres, including personality, psychodiagnostic, psychoeducational, Autism, ADHD, cognitive and neuropsychological tests and administration protocols.

Hale Psychological Services was established in 2016. In September 2018, we opened The Hale Centre on Prospect Street, on Fredericton’s Southside. In September 2023, we opened our second centre at 475 Brookside Drive, in Fredericton’s rapidly-expanding Northside. Previously the Nashwaaksis Medical Centre, The Hale Centre – Brookside has been fully renovated with a rustic, modern feel to provide a spacious, comfortable and professional environment. With Baltic grey flooring, natural wood features, and 11 furnished offices, many of which have windows allowing for natural lighting, and are equipped with modern comfortable furniture including standing desks. A new kitchenette/lunch room, psychological testing room, separate child/youth and adult waiting rooms, student workspaces, file room, 4 washrooms including wheelchair accessible facilities and lots of free on-site parking all provide an excellent environment for clinicians and clients.

Monthly “Staying Current” didactics are offered on a variety of relevant topics. In addition, regular opportunities are provided for Continuing Education, training opportunities, team building, professional consultation, and to celebrate our achievements and milestones & make memories together!

Our practice serves many diverse demographics and populations, depending on associate’s areas of interest and competency including, but not limited to: All civilian populations and age groups, Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) members, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) members, and their families, RCMP, Paramedics and other First Responders, Indigenous/First Nations, Non-Insured Health Benefits, Return to Work, WorkSafe, Victim Services, Social Development, and legal referrals.
