Job Summary

The Service Delivery Division provides income and disability assistance services online, by phone, or face to face in our communities. We strive to ensure our services are reliable, responsive, inclusive and accessible to all British Columbians who need our support.
Branches within the Service Delivery Division are responsible for providing support to and/or delivering responsive, accessible and secure income and disability services across the province.
The Branch Coordinator supports the day to day priorities of the Executive Director, including liaison with ministry executive offices, and provides a variety of administrative and financial support services for a branch of 60 to 600 employees.
Job Requirements:
  • Secondary school graduation and three years' experience providing administrative and financial support such as coordinating meetings, accounts payable, and budget monitoring or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with advanced word processing (Word), advanced calendaring (Outlook), spreadsheets (Excel), databases, and other standard computer applications.
  • Experience with human resource, financial and information management systems (e.g., CHIPS, ARCS/ORCS, and CLIFF, etc.).
  • Experience working effectively in a confidential capacity.

Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work from home a few days a week subject to an approved telework agreement.
