Position:Cloud Native Product Specialist

Background:
Our federal government client is seeking resources to focus on identifying the feature set for the application and translating that to a user experience for the development team.
Qualifications:
· Valid Government of Canada Security Clearance at the level of SECRET (must already be held)
· To be successful experience with VMware Tanzu will be required
· The proposed resource must have the VMware Master Services Competencies (MSCs) certification for their area of service and their training certification endorsed by VMware
· You must have completed a minimum of 2 projects where you were responsible for performing requirements gathering for new application features, and transforming requirements into personas and user stories, creating a backlog and helping plan and prioritize stories for the development team
· Responsible for employing User-Centered Design, to understand the user and their needs, and to solve the problems they are facing – including demonstrating the use of more than one of the following methodologies: user interviews, ethnographic studies, persona definition
· Prototype creation and user experience testing
Responsibilities could entail:
· Explore client vision and problems, so they can develop the appropriate products
· Perform requirements gathering and transform requirements into personas and user stories
· Create a backlog and help plan and prioritize stories for the development team
· Employ User-Centered Design, to understand the user and their needs, and to solve the problems they are facing. User-centered design may include user interviews, ethnographic studies, persona definition, prototype creation and user experience testing
· Translating user needs into development activities, which may include completing the information architecture, creating user flows, creating wire frames, establishing visual design, and making high fidelity mock-ups and style guides
· Employ Hypothesis-Driven Product Management, which is the practice of treating the development of new products as running a series of experiments. Instead of formulating requirements, the designer formulates hypotheses along with some validation criteria that state how strong of a signal we need to consider the hypothesis true
· Guide teams and process to make a full transformational change to Agile Software delivery. This transformation will put in place collaborative, cross-functional and self- organizing teams that deliver software in an incremental and iterative way. This will enable them to move on with confidence when the project has been completed
