Objective of Program:
16-week program (4 days per week). Program is designed to help parents reconnect with their children by helping them on their healing journey through traditional teachings, knowledge and practices.
Duties:
Facilitation of program curriculum, knowledge of First Nation Culture, practices and protocol, Case Management meetings with the Ministry of Social Services and parental supports, Weekly reports
Time Management Skills
Ability to empathize and find solution with clients
Ability to work in a Trauma informed way
Ability to assist clients in their personal healing journey in an innovative, supportive way
Good written and verbal communication skills
Works well with other, and demonstrates a positive work ethic
Criminal Record/Vulnerable Sector check
Valid Driver license
Open and willing to continue learning
