In our Calgary, Alberta office, Englobe is pleased to offer a co-operative opportunity to multiple ambitious Civil Engineering/Technology Students. Reporting to the Materials Team Lead s you will spend your 8-month co-op program (or 2 consecutive 4-month terms) assisting our team in the field.

Your Contribution
Students will have the opportunity to be trained and to perform some of the following tasks:
- Field testing of civil construction materials such as soils, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt
- Learn about construction equipment, sequencing, and drawings
- Compaction testing of soils, aggregates and asphalt
- Concrete testing; casting cylinders and performing slump and air measurements
- Asphalt testing; Marshall analysis, pavement coring, and on-site sampling
- Preparing daily test summary reports
The successful applicant will receive:
- Travel assistance of up to $500.00 in province or $1000.00 for out of province provided, where applicable, at the successful completion of the work term.
- Technicians will be provided with a company truck
Your Profile
- A Civil Engineering Student in recognized Canadian College or University
- Valid drivers license, current drivers abstract, and insurance claims experience letter will be required
- CSA approved laced steel-toed boots
- Alcohol and drug testing may be required upon arrival
- Must be able to work outside of normal working hours and any overtime assigned
