Cold Beer & Wine Clerk

We are currently searching for someone to come join our team at the Cold Beer and Wine Store located on the main street of Vanderhoof. We are looking for employees who are energetic, enthusiastic and share our passion and commitment to satisfying our customers. Because we are also a Hotel, there are some duties that go hand -in- hand with the beer store shifts. Some of these include but are not limited to:

• Stocking shelves, unloading delivery trucks, maintaining store cleanliness
• In this unionized role, you will be required to serve customers daily and process payment transactions
• You are expected to follow all health and safety procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned
• Responsible for checking guests in and out of the Hotel. Issues room keys, pamphlets, etc.
• Collects payment and makes change for guests.
• As a front-line worker, present a positive and professional image of the organization to all visitors, and suppliers
• Will be expected to complete "Serving It Right" certification if hired.

Who You Are - Your Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Must be 19 years of age or older
• Must have completed High School and/or GED equivalent
• Must be able to comfortably lift up to 40lbs (over 18kg) for continuous periods of time
• Must be able to stand on your feet for 2 or more hours during a shift
• Able to performance basic computer functions
