Salary Range
$69,760.70 - $79,322.69 annually, plus $37.64 bi-weekly isolation allowance for Smithers; $54.75 bi-weekly Isolation allowance for Fort Nelson.

Natural Resource Information & Digital Services (NRIDS)is the information management/information technology (IM/IT) service provider and organizational partner to the Natural Resource Ministries (NRM). As the centralized authority for all information, geospatialdata, and technology across the NRM, NRIDS is leading the transformation and modernization of business practices through new and innovative technology solutions, continuous improvement projects and operational IM/IT solutions.
NRIDS provides broad information management services and leadership in data custodianship by way of the creation, maintenanceand publication of foundational datasets and geospatial information. NRIDS is also responsible for the full range of services to maintain and support all existing IT systems for the NRM as well as the development of new applications to deliver on government objectives. NRIDS is committed to client engagement and understanding the business needs of the NRM to identify where expert knowledge, technology and data/information solutions will help the sector deliver their programs and services more effectively.
The Client Relations Coordinator works as a member of the communications team. The position is responsible for developing and managing communications and engagement plans and other communications and training materials/activities. This role will be required to develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with divisional and NRM clients to ensure the effective delivery of NRIDS' projects, and to communicate program goals and objectives.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, English or a related degree and 2 years of related experience*; OR
  • A diploma in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or English or a related diploma and 3 years of related experience*; OR
  • An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.

Related experience must include all of the following:
  • Developing and implementing communications and engagement strategies or plans.
  • Producing a variety of communications products (newsletters, executive communication, video, web/intranet).
  • Developing and maintaining good working relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

Preference may be given to candidates with:
  • Experience in graphic design.
  • Experience with CMS lite.
  • Experience producing training materials.
  • Experience using Articulate.
  • Experience in video production.

About this Position:
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 5 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
There is currently one permanent full time opportunity available.
