Commercial Landscape Foreman

Ridge Rock Group is a commercial landscaping contractor servicing properties all across Ottawa. Our management team seeks to become one of the largest property maintenance companies in Ottawa.

We are currently looking to fill a role as a Landscape Foreman for both the summer and winter seasons. With plans to grow, this role is best suited for ambitious individuals who wish to grow with the future of our company. Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage a team of landscapers and laborers

- Plan and execute landscape projects

- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, pruning, and fertilizing

- Ensure that all work is completed according to specifications and meets quality standards

- Train new team members on proper landscaping techniques and safety protocols

- Monitor inventory levels and order necessary materials and supplies

- Communicate with clients to understand their landscaping needs and provide excellent customer service

Requirements:

- Proven experience in landscape maintenance and construction

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise a team

- Extensive knowledge of plants, trees, and shrubs commonly used in landscaping

- Proficient in using landscaping tools and equipment

- Excellent problem-solving skills to address any issues that arise during projects

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Salary: $26.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
