Job description

Responsibilities:
- Filing of all Loan Documents for each loan
- Perform general clerical duties, including photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and provide information to callers
- Loan Documents need to be in hard copy & then put electronically into an electronic system such as "Drop Box" so they are available to view at any time
- Proofread and edit documents for grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors
- Type correspondence, reports, and other documents as needed
- Help with managing the front desk area and greet visitors in a professional manner when the Administrative Assistant is not available
- Timely Issuance of Statements to Borrowers on a monthly bases
- Follow up with each Borrower on ensuring Interest Payments are received on a monthly basis, ensuring any late payments are followed up promptly with the borrowers
- Payout Statements provided to the lawyer as requested
- Request of information from borrowers on any renewals including new PNW statements, financial statements, etc.

-Monitoring of Insurance policies provided at time of establishing the loan and ensuring that all policies are kept up to date as they expire. New insurance Certificates to be provided by the Borrower and filed accordingly

-Interest schedule - provided to sales staff on a weekly basis highlighting any amounts outstanding

-Coordination of all Draws, including documentation and Draw request to Funding Manager for funding

-Assistance to all sales staff on renewals, ensuring that upcoming renewals are clearly identified and deadlines for those renewals are met

This role is for you if you are:
- Results-driven with strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Proficient in analytical and numerical skills
- Demonstrates professionalism, judgment, and integrity
- Pasion for real estate lending business
- Self-motivated, process-oriented, and possesses a strong administration and operation skills.
- Ownership and accountability for work, ability to meet tight deadlines, and handle sensitive or confidential information with discretion.

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

-Undergraduate degree or nearing completion in Real Estate, Business Administration, Math, Accounting, Insurance or Econimics

-Experience in the banking, credit union, or financial services industry is an asset
