As a Commercial Real Estate Associate, you will have the unique opportunity to learn from experienced professionals while also contributing to our operational efficiency through various administrative tasks. This position is a springboard to becoming a successful Commercial Real Estate agent, offering hands-on experience in Real Estate transactions, client management, and office operations. This is an in-office position that will require local travel for property visits and meetings.
Responsibilities:
- Assist and shadow agents during client meetings and property tours.
- Support in preparing marketing materials, conducting market research, and managing client databases.
- Learn and comprehend Real Estate contracts and negotiations.
- Foster and manage client relationships under guidance.
- Stay abreast of the Commercial Real Estate market, including trends, pricing, and competitive activity.
- Provide administrative support, manage office correspondence, and maintain office calendars.
- Organize meetings, coordinate schedules, set up conference calls and perform clerical duties as needed.
- Handle confidential information with discretion.
Qualifications:
- Hold a bachelor's degree or college diploma. While the field of study is open, we particularly welcome candidates who, irrespective of their educational backgrounds, exhibit a strong work ethic, display keen business acumen, and have a profound interest in the Real Estate industry.
- Excellent communication skills with a particular strength in articulating benefits and opportunities in a sales context.
- Comfortable with proactive outreach, including making phone calls, to foster business relationships.
- Problem-solving mindset and strong negotiation skills.
- Robust organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Self-starter attitude with a willingness to receive guidance.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for local travel.
- Preference for candidates who are licensed in Real Estate or actively pursuing their license. Must obtain a Real Estate salesperson license within the first 6 months of employment.
