Located in Mississauga, Ontario, we are a leading developer and manufacturer of quality private label food products with distribution across Canada, the USA, and South America.

As a Commercialization Technician, you will be responsible for supporting the R&D Department with a wide range of physical and clerical tasks as needed to assist in the process of developing of recipes into full scale production.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

• Support and preparation for new products
• Completion and organizing of technical spec for customers
• Participation in continuous improvement studies
• Collecting and analyzing data and preparing presentations
• Writing and updating relevant SOP’s
• New RM# and PK# submissions
• Productions documents, ticksheet initiation and updates
• Recipe SharePoint Maintenance
• Production documents for fill weight and updates
• SIDS/FDA online application for new products
• Costing, internal process on a weekly basis if required
• Canadian Dairy commission (CDC) online reporting process on a monthly basis and submission for new products that use milk CDC qualified ingredients (new launches)
• GSI online application for new and existing items
• First production documents, Age of ingredients (AOI), Visual Product Reference Form (VPR)
• Portal Maintenance as required
• Case coding software, inputs of new products for production and maintenance
• Ingredient Substitution coordination

Education: College Diploma or University Degree in Science related discipline or relevant work experience

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills so that you gain agreement or acceptance of a plan or activity.
• Sharepoint and Excel
